HypeYourBeast Off White X Nike Dunk Low ‘Dear Summer – 48/50’

Called the “Dear Summer” collection by the Illinois-native (and “The 50” by spectators on social media), the new collaboration serves as Abloh’s most expansive project with NIKE, Inc. since 2017’s “The Ten,” which reimagined 10 silhouettes from under the North American conglomerate’s umbrella. Previously known to be a 20-pair lineup replete in almost two dozen different color-ways, Off-White’s latest endeavor primarily focuses on one low-top style and highlights it with 48 varying over lace, tongue, sock-liner, zip tie, lot number and lateral swoosh underlay colors. Virgil Abloh’s signature touches include a white plastic zip tie, an off-center tongue tag and lines of Helvetica text on the medial side.
